The Career Exploration badge launches the More Than an Athlete Career Development micro-credential series. Through career assessments and self-reflection, student-athletes identify potential career paths, explore personal interests, and gain insight into how various occupations align with their current field of study.
Each Career badge is a part of the 3-badge More Than an Athlete Career micro-credential. Completion of all 3 in the series allows a student-athlete to obtain the “Career Development” Badge.
Eligible Participants
The Career Exploration badge is available to ALL UB student-athletes.
Career Exploration Badge Process
Follow the steps below to sign up and complete the Career Exploration badge:
- Provide your information on the following form: ENROLL HERE
- Set up a meeting with the Micro-Credential Coordinator: Diamond King-Williams (djw35@buffalo.edu)
- Complete the required criteria listed above. This will be provided in more detail by the Micro-Credential Coordinator during your initial meeting.
- Submit the required evidence for each criteria listed to the Micro-Credential Coordinator .
- Complete a final reflection meeting with Micro-Credential Coordinator
- Accept your Career Exploration Badge through Credly
- Show off your Career Exploration Badge!
