Junior (2019): A reserve running back who also played special teams… had nine carries for 41 yards on the season… had six carries for 26 yards against Robert Morris (8/29)… had two carries for 11 yards against Bowling Green (11/29).
Sophomore (2018): Appeared in 13 games on special teams and as a reserve running back… rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries… carried the ball seven times for 32 yards and an 11-yard touchdown against Kent State (11/6)… had four carries for 20 yards at Bowling Green (11/23).
Redshirt-Freshman (2017): Appeared in 10 games as a reserve running back… ranked second on the team in rushing with 419 yards and had two touchdowns… added three receptions for 24 yards on the year… had 15 carries for 57 yards and his first career touchdown against Florida Atlantic (Sept. 23)… rushed for 44 yards against Western Michigan (Oct. 7)… rushed for a season-high 133 yards and a touchdown against Bowling Green (Nov. 7)… rushed for 91 yards on 14 carries (6.5 ypc) at Ball State (Nov. 16).
Freshman (2016): Redshirted in his first season at Buffalo.
High School: Standout running back from the recruiting hotbed state of Florida. Hampered by injuries his senior season, he still rushed for 730 yards and seven touchdowns. For his career, he ran for more than 3,000 yards and 47 touchdowns. Also an effective receiver, Anderson had nearly 500 receiving yards and four touchdowns over his career. He helped lead the Golden Eagles to three straight playoff appearances, including the Class 2A state title game his junior season.
