UB Football Women’s Night Scheduled for August 5

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo football team will host its inaugural Red Zone Rendezvous with the Bulls presented by Kaleida Health on August 5 at the UB Center for the Arts. Exclusively for women and hosted by the UB coaching staff and special guests from the community, this entertaining evening will give fans a special inside look at the UB football program.
"We are looking forward to a fun and fulfilling evening with this important constituency," Head Coach Pete Lembo said. "Our football program's mission is to be accessible and inclusive, while providing great visibility for the University and enhancing the sense of community in Western New York. Events like this only serve to further those goals."
Hosted by local sportscaster Heather Prusak, the evening will include appearances by Hayley Beane, wife of Buffalo Bills General Manager Brandon Beane and Jenifer Lembo, wife of UB head coach Pete Lembo along with female members of the football staff.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet with players and staff and learn what makes the UB football program special, including behind the scenes stories and how the program is marketed to the community and recruits.
Red Zone Rendezvous with the Bulls is open to women aged 21+. The event will begin at 6 pm with a social hour that includes appetizers, drinks and positive interaction with friends and local businesses.
