Bulls Drop Season Finale to Ohio, 31-26

After falling behind, 7-0, cornerback Kobi Blackwell came up with an interception at the Ohio 11-yard line to set up the Bulls in the redzone. UB capitalized on the turnover two plays later when Ta'Quan Roberson found Chance Morrow in the back of the endzone for a 10-yard touchdown to tie the game, 7-7, early in the second quarter.
The Bobcats scored twice more in the second quarter to take a 21-7 lead at the half.
The Bulls marched right down the field on their opening drive of the second half and Al-Jay Henderson bounced a run outside for a 23-yard touchdown to cut the Ohio lead to 21-13.
Following an Ohio touchdown to regain a 15-point lead, Roberson called his owned number and rushed up the middle for a five-yard touchdown to cut the lead to 28-19 early in the fourth quarter.
Trailing, 31-19, Roberson found Jasaiah Gathings for a 29-yard touchdown to cut the Bobcat lead to 31-26 with 3:47 left in the game. Unfortunately, Ohio was able to run out the clock and thwart UB's comeback effort.
Roberson threw for 270 yards and two touchdowns and ran for a score in his final game as the Bulls' quarterback.
Nik McMillan had five receptions for 122 yards to become the first wide receiver in program history to record six straight 100-yard receiving games. Victor Snow had four catches for 82 yards, including a 58-yard reception.
Terrance Shelton, Jr. led the rushing attack with 57 yards on 15 carries.
Linebacker Red Murdock, playing the final game of his illustrious career, once again led the Buffalo defense with 14 tackles and a sack. Fellow linebackers Dion Crawford and Mitchell Gonser had 10 and eight tackles, respectively. Crawford added a sack in the game.
The UB defense forced three turnovers in the game.
