Kwak Competes Among Nation's Best at NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships

ATHENS, GA – The University at Buffalo Swimming & Diving team sent diver Marialis Kwak to the Division-I NCAA Championships on the campus of University of Georgia. The junior qualified for both the one-meter and three-meter national championships, competing against 101 divers from across the country.
Kwak first participated in one-meter diving on Thursday, placing 31st with a score of 253.60. At last year's NCAA Championships, the junior earned the same placement in the event and a score of 244.35.
Kwak was set to participate in the three-meter diving event on Friday, but later pulled out of the competition due to an injury, ending the event with no placement. All results from the national championships can be accessed here.
