BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo football head coach Pete Lembo announced on Tuesday that Juliana Prezelski has been hired as the program's Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations. She is the first woman in program history to oversee football operations.
Prezelski comes to Buffalo from Mississippi State where she spent the last three seasons as Assistant Director of Football Operations/Player Parent Liaison. In her time with the Bulldogs, her duties included helping manage the program's daily operations, handling budget planning and assisting with team travel.
From 2014-19, she worked on the football staff at Maryland. During her time with the Terrapins, she was promoted from Head Operations and Recruiting Intern to Graduate Student Football Operations Intern. She was on the same Maryland staff as Lembo from 2016 to 2017.
"We are all very pleased to welcome Juliana to the UB football family," Lembo said. "She will be responsible for a number of important duties, including being my primary liaison with our athletic department leadership. Juliana's superb combination of an outgoing personality, strong quantitative skills and experience at the highest level of college football makes her the perfect fit for this critical role on our staff."
Prezelski is a two-time graduate of Maryland with a bachelor's and master's degree in accounting. Prior to working at Mississippi State, she was an investment funds tax associate for RSM US LLP in New York City.
