BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo football team announced it will play a non-conference game at Michigan in 2027. The Bulls will face the Wolverines at Michigan Stadium on Sept. 4, 2027.
It will be just the second meeting between Buffalo and Michigan. The only other meeting came back in 1901, a victory by the Wolverines.
The Bulls have played a number of teams from the Big Ten Conference in recent history. Including upcoming games against Minnesota in 2025, Penn State in 2026 and Ohio State in 2028, UB has scheduled a Big Ten opponent in 10 of 12 seasons between 2017 and 2028.
In addition to playing Michigan in 2027, UB has also added Central Connecticut State to the schedule. The Bulls will host the Blue Devils on Sept. 18, 2027. It will be the fourth meeting between the schools and the first since the 1992 season.
