Bulls fall to Duquesne, 114-110

PITTSBURGH – The University at Buffalo women's swimming and diving team (0-2, 0-1 MAC) fell to the Duquesne Dukes (5-1, 0-0 Atlantic 10) on Friday night by a score of 114-110.
The Bulls opened the meet with a victory in the 400 medley relay. The team of Mia Naccarella, Katie Pollock, Clarice Fisher, and Toni Naccarella finished first with a time of 3:48.44.
Mia Naccarella was victorious in the 200 freestyle and the 100 backstroke with times of 1:55.24 and 56.05-seconds, respectively. Toni Naccarella took first in the 100 freestyle in 50.79-seconds.
The Bulls went 1-2 in the 100 butterfly, with Amanda Neeb finishing first with a time of 55.86-seconds and Clarice Fisher taking second in 57.26-seconds.
Katie Pollock won the 100 breaststroke in 1:04.69, and UB capped off the meet with second and third-place finishes in the 200 freestyle relay. The team of Ellie Duley, Nicole Aguilar, Amanda Neeb, and Sawyer Bosley finished second in 1:35.93.

The Bulls' diving team begins Day Two of the UB Diving Invite on Saturday at 11 a.m. The UB swimming and diving squad is back in action on Friday, Jan. 20 as the team travels to Toledo, Ohio to take on Toledo and Ohio.
