TAMPA, FL – The University at Buffalo men's soccer team was handed their first loss of the 2016 campaign on a steamy Sunday afternoon in Tampa against South Florida. The game was called in the 81st minute due to lightning as the South Florida Bulls collected the 3-0 victory over UB.

How It Happened
- South Florida was able to get the first shot of the match in the eighth minute as Lindo Mfeka ripped a shot wide and out of play.
- David Enstrom was able to collect the Bulls first shot on goal of the match in the 16th minute as his header was stopped by the USF keeper.
- After some back-and-forth action, Marcus Epps had a shot that was saved by Joseph Kuta, keeping the game scoreless.
- The South Florida Bulls were able to get on the board first in the 44th minute as Marcus Epps took a feed from Melvin Becket and beat Joseph Kuta from the front of the goal, giving USF the 1-0 lead.
- Buffalo tried responding just over 30 seconds later but Scott Doney saw his header saved by the Bulls keeper.
- USF added to their lead almost four minutes into the second half as Lindo Mfeka netted his first goal of the season after assists from Marcus Epps and Ricardo Gomez.
- In the 61st minute, Daniel Cramarossa sent a perfect corner kick into the box where Tommy Fogarty-Cameron's header went just wide of the net, keeping the score 2-0 in favor of the home team.
