EDINBURG, TX - The University at Buffalo, The State University of New York men's soccer team (3-1-1, 0-0-0 MAC) was handed their first loss of the 2015 campaign on Sunday afternoon by Houston Baptist. The Bulls allowed a goal in the 95th minute in the sweltering heat as they lost their first overtime game since 2013.

- The Short Story: Houston Baptist was able to counter a Buffalo corner and score the game-winning goal in the 95th minute of play. The loss is UB's first of the season as they are now 3-1-1 on the year.

How It Happened
- After some back-and-forth play through the start of the first half, Cameron Hogg was called on to make a big save in the 20th minute as he robbed Dominick Faletto.
- In the 28th minute it appeared the Bulls had taken the 1-0 lead, but Scott Doney's header goal was flagged for offsides, whipping out the goal.
- After Doney's offsides, Cameron Hogg made his best save of the first half as he made a huge save on George Kelley to keep the game knotted, 0-0.
- The Bulls used five subs in the opening half as they were trying to preserve their legs for the second half when they had the wind at their backs.
- The Bulls jumped out to a quick start in the second half as Scott Doney notched a shot on goal that was saved by the Houston Baptist keeper.
- In the 68th minute, the Bulls had their best chance of the second half to get on the board as junior Russell Cicerone had his rocket shot deflect off the goal post and it was cleared away.
- In the final minute of regulation, Alec Fisher had an opportunity to win the game for the Bulls but his shot was turned away by Philip Poser and sent the game to overtime.
- UB received a corner kick in the 94th minute but they were unable to connect on a goal. Houston Baptist was able to counter and end the game in the 95th minute of play as Marcelo Acuna scored his third goal of the season to hand UB their first loss of the season.

- The overtime game for the Bulls was their second straight. The Bulls had three total overtime games a season ago and never had back-to-back extra time matches.
- The 1-0 overtime loss was the first OT loss for the Bulls since October 18, 2013 against Akron.
