BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo, the State University of New York football team placed two players on the CoSIDA Academic All-District team on Thursday. Punter Tyler Grassman and tight end Matt Weiser were both named to the District 1 First Team. Selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, Grassman and Weiser were recognized as two of the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom.

He is averaging a career-best 42 yards per punt and has had 12 punts downed inside the 20-yard line. He also has been handling kickoff duties this season and has boomed 19 touchbacks. Grassman was also named to the All-District team last season.
