Bulls Rally Past Georgetown, 14-4

GEORGETOWN, KY - The University at Buffalo baseball team rallied
past Georgetown College, 14-4, on Tuesday afternoon at Robert N.
Wilson Field to improve its current road trip record to 4-1.
Trailing 4-1, the Bulls rallied for eight runs in the top of the
sixth to take the lead. Freshman Alex Baldock and senior Brad Agustin scored the Bulls' first runs of the inning off solo
shots. Later, senior Rob Lawler kept the Bulls rolling with a
three-run home run followed by a two-RBI double by Baldock.
The Bulls added three insurance runs in the top of the seventh,
including a two-RBI double by senior Adam Skonieczki.
Senior Brad Cochrane posted three hits with Baldock recording
three RBIs.
In his first career start, freshman Gavin Black (1-0) recorded his
first victory in 6.1 innings of work, allowing only seven hits.
The Bulls (4-4) will face the Tigers in the second game of the
two-game series on Wednesday, March 10 with the first pitch set for
1:00 pm.
