BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo football team travels to Ohio for a nationally-televised Thursday night matchup with the Bobcats. The game will air on ESPNU.
The Bulls are looking to snap a three-game losing skid and improve their record to 2-3 in MAC play. Ohio sits atop the MAC East Division standings with a 4-1 mark and a 6-3 overall record. The Bobcats have won five straight games.
Alex Zordich will again get the start at quarterback for the Bulls as the Youngstown, OH native returns to his home state. The freshman signal caller continues to progress as he threw for 210 yards and added a rushing score last week against Miami. He will be making the first road start of his career.
Ohio is led by quarterback Boo Jackson who has thrown for 1,302 yards and 12 touchdowns on the season. The Bobcats rank second in the MAC in rushing – averaging 176.8 yards per game.
The game kicks off at 7:30 pm on Thursday from Peden Stadium in Athens, OH. Along with ESPNU, fans can also follow the game on 1230 WECK in Buffalo as well as 1280 WHTK in Rochester.
