BUFFALO, NY - The Buffalo Bulls will close the 2010 season with their first visit to InfoCision Stadium on the University of Akron campus in a matchup of two teams desperately looking to end the season with a win.
The Bulls last trip to Akron closed the Rubber Bowl in 2008 and ended in a 43-40 heart-stopping four-overtime thriller. This time around, the Bulls and Zips are looking to snap a six- and 11-game losing streak, respectively, in a game that will be televised by SportsTime Ohio.
Buffalo comes into the contest 2-9 overall and 1-6 in MAC play after a 21-17 home loss to Eastern Michigan on Senior Day. Daviscompleted 20-of-32 passes for 222 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the game.
Akron is 0-11 overall and hoping to avoid a winless season in their home finale under first-year coach Rob Ianello. The Zips are led offensively by tailback Alex Allen, who has rushed for 771 yards and a healthy 5.0 yards per carry. Defensively linebacker Brian Wagner has a team-best 116 tackles and two interceptions.
This is the 12th meeting between the two schools and the series has been a streaky one.Akron won the first eight meetings with the Bulls capturing the last three.

The game kicks off at 2:00 pm. As always, fans can listen to the game on 1230 WECK in Buffalo and 1280 WHTK in Rochester. The game will be televised on SportsTime Ohio as well as online on ESPN3.com.
