
Women's Swimmers Fall to RedHawks

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo women's swimming and diving team opened the Mid-American Conference season on Saturday with a 193.5-106.5 loss to Miami (OH) at Alumni Arena Natatorium. The Bulls are 1-2 overall and 0-1 in the MAC while the RedHawks are 2-1 overall and 1-0 in league action.
The Bulls earned a first-place finish on Saturday from Marissa Murphy in the 100-yard freestyle. Murphy turned in a time of 52.65 to win the race by nearly a second over Miami's Maddie Kete (53.56).
UB also picked up first-place points in the 400-yard freestyle relay as the foursome of Karly Moore, Keri Chandler, Jordan Deren and Jessie Koltz finished in 3:35.13.
The Bulls host Niagara on November 13 at 1:00 pm at Alumni Arena Natatorium in their next action.
