- That same year, he led the Bulls on and off the court, and to their 1st modern post-season basketball tournament, the NIT, topping the team in scoring (15.5) and assists (4.4), while also logging a UB record 1,160 minutes of playing time.
- An All-Freshman MAC pick, Turner earned conference honorable mention as a sophomore and was a 2nd team selection his junior year.
- Turner stands 5th in career points, with 1,414 and ended his career with a 12.6 scoring average.
- He also scored in double figures and led his team each of his last 3 seasons, in each case, improving on the year before.
- Led UB in assists each year and also is the team's career record-holder, while appearing in the top 5 in several other all-time categories, and team MVP and captain each of the last 3 years.
