1985 Clifford C. Furnas Scholar-Athlete Award, 1985 National Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Award; Two-year winner of the Dom Grossi Scholar-Athlete Award; Outstanding Bull Award 1984; UB Outstanding Male Athlete 1985.

Four-year starter, Two-year captain; Career as a linebacker included 248 tackles, six fumble recoveries, eight pass interceptions and 16 pass deflections.
