- Bridget broke five individual UB indoor and outdoor track records (her specialties were the 3000 and 5000-meters) and was a member of two record-setting relays.
- She won four individual ECC championships in indoor and outdoor track distance events and also was a member of two title-winning relays as UB claimed ECC track titles in 1992 (indoor and outdoor) and 1995.
- Captured the East Coast Conference's 1993 individual cross country crown and led and captioned UB to the team title.
- In 1992, Bridget broke UB's home course cross country record and, a year earlier, was all-ECC as UB captured team honors.
- Chaired the NCAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee for three years.
- As chair, Bridget argued successfully at the NCAA Convention for the adoption of legislation to allow partial qualifiers a fourth year of eligibility (if certain academic criteria are met) and to allow full scholarship student-athletes part-time jobs.
