COLUMBUS, OH - The Mid-American Conference Champion University at Buffalo women's tennis team will begin NCAA Tournament action on Saturday afternoon when the Bulls face Ohio State at noon at the Varsity Tennis Courts.

Ohio State (28-2), which moved up to #2 in the latest national rankings, is the tournament's No. 3 overall seed. Prior to the match between the Bulls and Buckeyes on Saturday will be No. 32 Notre Dame (17-9) and No. 34 Kansas (13-9) at 9 a.m. The first round winners will meet at noon Sunday for a spot in the Round of 16. The Round of 16 through the final, along with the singles and doubles championships, will be held in Athens, Ga.
Buffalo enters the NCAA tournament with a 14-8 record and has won eight straight matches with their last loss coming more than a month ago. The Bulls entered the MAC Tournament as the #3 seed and they took down Western Michigan, Akron, and Miami (OH) on consecutive days to claim their second ever MAC Title.
This will be the first time that Ohio State and Buffalo will meet in women's tennis. The Bulls are 0-1 all-time in the NCAA Tournament with a 4-0 loss to UCLA in 2008
All-session tickets, which include all six matches (three women's and three men's) are $21 for adults and $12 for youth/students. Single day tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for youth/students on Friday and Sunday. Saturday tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for youth/students when three matches are on the slate (once singles matches start during the second match of the day, prices change to $8 and $5). Children 2 and under are free. Parking is available for free in designated lots.
