2015-16: Went 14-17 overall and 9-13 in duals on the season... was 1-7 in MAC duals...went 4-2 at the MAC Championships to qualify for the NCAA Championships... At the NCAAs, he upset third-seeded Victor Avery of Edinboro in what many considered the biggest upset of the entire tournament... ranked second on the team in takedowns with 29... tied for the team lead in 4-point near falls with five.

2014-15: Had a solid redshirt freshman campaign for the Bulls as he finished the season with an overall record of 14-11 while notching a 8-6 dual meet mark... went 2-2 in MAC duals including a 2-1 mark after switching to 184-pounds from 197-pounds near the end of the season... ranked second on the team with 29 takedowns... finished the season ranking first in two-point near falls (four) and second in three-point near falls (four)... his two MAC dual victories came against Eastern Michigan and Northern Illinois.

2013-14: Redshirted but turned in a solid freshman campaign, earning a 5-3 overall record… Won three matches at the Lock Haven Mat Town Open (11/30), his first collegiate tournament… Collected a 2-1 record at the Cleveland State Open (12/14)

High School: Won the State Championship as a senior with an overall record of 47-1. Was a National Champion dual team participant for freestyle and greco. Garnered All-Conference accolades on two ocassions. Two-time greco state champion and one-time folkstyle state champion.

Personal: Born June 9, 1995. Son of Jim and Nancy Ariola. Has two sisters, Alyssa and Sophia, and one brother, Dominic. Lists his favorite movies as Step Brothers and Gladiator.
