CLEVELAND, OH – The University at Buffalo outdoor Track & Field program placed 12 student-athletes on the Academic All-Mid-American Conference Team, the league announced on Friday. The women's team had seven selections while the men had five named to the team.
Across the Mid-American Conference, a total of 68 men and 168 women were named to the team this season.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
