Bulls Ready for Indoor MAC Track & Field Championships

BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo track and field team will travel to Bowling Green for the Mid-American Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday. The Bulls posted solid results during the indoor season and look to build on those marks during the championships.

The Bulls are coming off a successful tune-up trip to Akron in which three Bulls posted wins at the Akron Zips Invite – the final meet of the regular season. Amy Villarini won the women's 400m, Mitchell Moore won the men's 400m and Christopher Nowak won the men's 800m.

Other standouts this season for UB have included Selina Von Jackowski who won the long jump at the Penn State Invitational and Stephanie Ward who broke the school record in the 5,000m. The Bulls look to continue their dominance in the throwing events, led by Jess Dhaliwall and Sam Wray who had strong indoor seasons in the weight throw.

The meet beings at 10 am on Friday and will conclude on Saturday. Click here for a schedule of events.
