2013-14: Placed fourth in the shot put at the USA Track & Field National Championships on June 25...he was the top collegiate finisher in the event setting a new outdoor school record, as well as the outdoor Mid-American Conference mark of 20.75 meters...became a four-time All-American with a pair of second-team finishes in the shot put during his junior campaign...placed 12th at the indoor championships with a heave of 18.71 meters and 11th at the outdoor national meet with a heave of 19.26 meters...set a school record in the indoor shot with a 19.95-meter throw...named First-Team All-MAC indoors having won the shot with a mark of 19.08 meters...again won the shot with a distance of 19.59 meters to earn first-team all-conference accolades at the outdoor championships...added a fifth-place finish of 53.77 meters in the discus at the conference championships.

2012-13: Earned first team All-American accolades in outdoor following a fourth place finish at the NCAA Championships with a career best outdoor throw of 63-1.50...was named second team All-American for the indoor season...recorded MAC Championships in both indoor and outdoor...set the school indoor record in the shot put with a throw of 64-3.25 (19.59m)...finished in 13th place at the Indoor NCAA Championships...recorded his best weight throw of the season at the Cornell Upstate Challenge with a distance of 55-5.00 (16.89m)...was named UB indoor track and field Most Valuable Athlete.

2011-12: Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor track & field seasons.

Previous College: Attended Buffalo State College. Finished second in the shot put at the 2011 SUNYAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships. Placed fourth in the indoor weight throw and the discus in the SUNYAC meets.

High School: Earned four letters and captained one season at Portville High School for coach Gary Swetland. Finished fifth in the shot put at the 2009 New York State Championships and sixth in the event in 2010. Also played football for the Panthers earning Big 30 All-Star team honors.

Personal: Born April 23, 1991. Son of Haley Holcomb-Jones. Favorite athlete is American shot putter Reese Hoffa. Favorite movies include Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Inception. Majoring in psychology.
