2012-13: Picked up a fifth place finish at the Cornell Upstate Challenge with a high jump height of 6-8.25 (2.04m)...recorded his best outdoor high jump height of 6-6.25 (1.99m) at the Wake Forest Open.

2011-12: Won the Mid-American Conference high jump title and earned first-team All-MAC honors setting the UB school record with a height of 6-9.50 at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Finished ninth in the high jump (season-best 6-6.75) at the MAC Indoor Championships.

High School: Earned four letters and captained two seasons for coach Rob Pawlak at Panama High School. Won the Division II high jump title (6-8) at the 2011 New York State Outdoor Championships. Also lettered in basketball and soccer for the Panthers.

Personal: Born December 12, 1992. Son of Dan and Sally Strickland. Has two sisters (Heather, Lori). Favorite athletes include Fred Jackson and Blake Griffin. Lists winning the state high jump title as his greatest athletic experience. Majoring in computer engineering.
