2012-13: Recroded the second longest shot put effort of the season at the SPIRE Midwest Open with a throw of 55-2 (16.81m)...picked up a second place finish in the discus throw with a toss of 170-3 (51.89m) at the Toledo Collegiate Challenge...placed third in the hammer throw at the Toledo Collegiate Challenge with a throw of 191-9 (58.45m)...his season-best hammer throw came at the Princeton Sam Howell Invitational with a distance of 197-2 (60.10m).

2011-12: Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor seasons.

2010-11: Named Top Newcomer for outdoor season. Won the MAC discus title, setting a season-best mark of 177-2, earning first-team All-MAC honors at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Also finished fifth in the hammer throw (season-best 195-8) at the MAC meet. Competed at the NCAA East Regional Preliminary Round finishing 18th in the discus (174-8) and 39th in the hammer (182-3).

Previous College: Competed at Maryland-Baltimore Country. The Retrievers’ top hammer thrower, he finished fifth at the 2010 America East Outdoor Championships

High School: Lettered three seasons at Shenendehowa High School for coach Scott Dochat. The 2009 state discus runner-up. Won two sectional shot put titles and a discus title. Earned Section II All-Star honors from the Albany Times-Union in 2007 and 2008 and Shenendehowa’s Vogel Award for excellence in athletics.

Personal: Born August 2, 1991. Son of Michelle Gallant. Has one brother (Thomas) and one sister (Rachel). Lists Italian and Mexican as his favorite foods. Favorite TV show is The Walking Dead. Favorite athletes include world class discus throwers Robert Harting, Virgilijus Alekna and Gerd Kanter. Majoring in communication.
