2011-12: Missed much of the season but returned to the lineup near the season’s conclusion. Finished eighth in the javelin at the MAC Outdoor Championships, setting a season-best with a throw of 115-10. Competed at the Penn Relays, placing 28th in the javelin (113-5).

2010-11: Had UB’s top javelin toss of 2011 with a 149-9 throw at the season-opening Wake Forest Open. 

2009-10: Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor seasons. 

2008-09: Earned a fifth-place finish in the javelin (135-11) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Set her top mark with a toss of 142-2 at the Campbell/Wright Open.

2007-08: Set her top javelin mark of 154-1 at the UB Invitational, earning a spot in the NCAA East Regionals field. Finished third (147-9) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Placed 29th (104-3) in the NCAA East Regionals.

High School: Coached at Widdifield Secondary School by her stepfather, Ted Gawinski. Earned a silver medal in the javelin at the 2006 Ontario Summer Games. Set a regional record with her throw of 137-2.

Personal: Born December 19, 1988. Daughter of Kelly Weston and stepdaughter of Ted Gawinski. Has two brothers (Kyle, Jack) and one sister (Chloe). Favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy. Favorite athlete is Canadian thrower and 2005 All-American Sultana Frizell (University of Georgia). Favorite book is A Prayer For Owen Meany. Majoring in psychology.
