2011-12: Earned cross country’s Most Valuable award. Raced in five meets and was UB’s top finisher in three. Had top 6K time of 22:51.6 to finish 50th at the MAC Cross Country Championships. Also UB’s top finisher at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championships. Placed 15th in the 3,000m (10:16.73) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Finished 17th in the 1,500m (4:41.90) and 19th in the 5,000m (season-best 18:19.91) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Ran anchor leg of UB’s record-setting distance medley relay (11:54.01) at the Penn Relays.

2010-11: Named Most Improved for cross country. Finished 50th at the MAC Cross Country Championships in 22:49.4 for 6K. UB’s top finisher at the NCAA Northeast Regionals finishing in 22:43.3 for 141st place. Finished 15th in the 1,500m (season-best 4:40.35) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Placed 21st in the 3,000m (10:22.88) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Set UB’s top indoor 3,000m mark of 10:15.42 at Akron Invitational. 

2009-10: Raced in seven cross country meets. Set top 5K mark of 20:01 at UB Invitational and top 6K mark of 22:56 at Paul Short Invitational. Placed 76th at the MAC Cross Country Championships in 25:09.5. Had top indoor mile time of 5:09.67 at Sykes-Sabock Challenge Cup and  top outdoor 800m time of 2:21.38 at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic.

High School: Won four letters and captained two seasons for coach Dave Frazer at Wellington C. Mepham High School. Finished 19th at the 2008 state cross country championships, earning all-state honors. A four-time all-county honoree. Helped the Pirates to 2006 and 2007 class titles.

Personal: Born October 13, 1991. Daughter of Paul and Kalina Beim. Has one brother (Daniel). Hobbies include playing the piano and art. Lists pasta and cookie dough ice cream as favorite foods. Her choices of three people she would like to invite to dinner include Thomas Jefferson, Leonardo Da Vinci and Harry Potter. Majoring in mechanical engineering.
