Dylan Conway Named Academic All-District

BUFFALO, NY - University at Buffalo track and field senior Dylan Conway has been named to the CoSIDA/Capital One Academic All-District First Team.  Conway is not only a distance runner on the track and field team, but also a member of the UB Cross Country Team.  This is the second straight year that he has been named to the All-District First Team.

Conway, a Mechanical Engineering major with a 3.97 GPA, finished with top times in both the 5,000 and 10,000 meter races during the outdoor season, while also having the top time in the 5,000 meters during the indoor season.  Back in the Fall, Conway finished 15th in the MAC Cross Country Championships and 38th at the NCAA Northeast Regionals

To be nominated for the Capital One Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve on their respective teams with at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average. Student-athletes must reach sophomore athletic and academic standings at their current institution to be eligible.
