PHILADELPHIA, PA – The University at Buffalo completed competition at the Penn Relays at Franklin Field on Saturday with high finishes in all four events in which the Bulls were entered.

Miles Lewis finished sixth in the men's 100-meter dash championship. Lewis, who lowered his UB record to 10.48 seconds in Friday's qualifying, finished in 10.69 on Saturday.

Jacob Sunday set a season-best with his fourth-place finish in the men's javelin throw. Sunday turned in a best throw of 208-0 (63.42m), adding eight feet to his previous best heave set at the season-opening Wake Forest Open.

Tomarris Bell had a sixth-place finish in the men's triple jump at 46-10.25 (14.25m). UB teammate Doug Hannon placed 17th in the event at 45-6.25 (13.87m).

UB's women's 4x800-meter relay squad also turned in a season-best in their event. The foursome of Meghan Manley, Sam Beim, Aimee Hopkins and Jackie Burns finished in 9:06.26.

"It was a great experience to be the Penn Relays, today alone had over 49,000 in attendance," said women's head coach Vicki Mitchell. "For our team to compete in this environment is great preparation and learning experience for future big meets."

With the Penn Relays now completed, the Bulls will travel to the Cornell Big Red Invitational to compete on Sunday. Competition is slated to begin at 11:00 am.
