2010-11: Sat out the indoor or outdoor track seasons as a redshirt. 

2009-10: Earned All-America honors with her third-place finish in the shot put with her school record throw of 55-0.25 at the NCAA National Outdoor Championships. Finished third in the shot put (54-9.25) and 25th in the hammer throw (177-5) at the NCAA East Preliminaries. Earned All-MAC Second Team outdoor and indoor honors with her runner-up finishes in the shot put. Also finished second in the hammer throw (188-6) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Broke the indoor shot put record with a throw of 53-9.50 at the Columbia Last Chance meet and finished 13th at the NCAA National Indoor Championships.

2008-09: Named Top Newcomer for the indoor and outdoor seasons. Earned All-East honors with her sixth-place finish in the shot put, a season-best 50-1.75, at the NCAA East Regionals. Finished fourth in the shot put (50-0.75) and 19th in the hammer (141-7) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Placed eighth in the shot put (47-7.75) and 10th in the weight throw (55-2.75) at the MAC Indoor Championships.

High School: Won four letters at Grove City High School for coach Steve Rhiel. The Pennsylvania state champion in the shot put and discus. Also won the state discus title and was second in the shot put in 2007. Played post for the baksetball team.

Personal: Born February 24, 1990. Daughter of Ken and Linda Woods. Has one brother (Josh). Cousin of former UB punter Ben Woods. Favorite movies include Avatar, the Rocky series and Clint Eastwood films. Has done missionary work in El Salvador. Majoring in communication.
