2010-11: Earned two MAC titles, first-team All-MAC and was named MAC Most Outstanding Field Performer at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Set UB, MAC and meet records in winning the discus (193-8) and shot put (56-6). Earned trip to NCAA National Championships where she finished 17th in the shot put (52-7.50) and 18th in the discus (164-0). Won the MAC indoor shot put title with a meet record throw of 54-9.25 and picked up second-team All-America honors at the NCAA National Indoor Championships with her 11th-place showing in the shot put (54-4.75). Set UB indoor shot put record of 56-1.25 at Penn State National Invitational. Named Most Outstanding for indoor and outdoor seasons and was selected to Academic All-MAC indoor and outdoor teams.  

2009-10: Won the MAC title and earned first-team All-MAC honors at the MAC Outdoor Championships in the shot put with a season-best throw of 53-6.25. Finished fourth in the discus (163-7) at the MAC meet after setting the school record in the event (166-3) at the Raleigh Relays. Placed 14th in the shot put (51-1) and 21st in the discus (155-2) at the NCAA East Preliminaries. Did not compete during the indoor track season.

Previous College: Competed as a freshman at North Carolina. Placed third in the shot put (49-5.75) at the ACC Indoor Championships. Took fourth at the ACC Outdoor Championships in the shot put (50-8.75), earning an NCAA East Regional qualifying distance. Finished with top discus throw of 157-1 at the Raleigh Relays. 

High School: Earned four letters and captained four seasons at Greely High School for coach Dennis O’Brien. A four-time All-State MVP and eight-time All-State honoree. Named to the Track & Field News All-America Team in shot put and USA Today All-USA Team. A two-time national champion and Gatorade Athlete of the Year.

Personal: Born April 30, 1990. Daughter of Dennis and Mary O’Brien. Has one brother (Russell Lunt). Favorite movies are Rocky IV and 300. Enjoys rap and country music and lists Lil Wayne and Miranda Lambert among her favorite artists. Favorite athletes are Olympic shot putters Nadine Kleinert and Valerie Vili. Majoring in communication.
