2010-11: Won UB’s Most Improved award and was named to the Academic All-MAC team for cross country. Finished 16th at the MAC Cross Country Championships in 25:15.7. Earned second-team All-MAC honors as he placed second in the 3,000m (season-best 8:32.12) and was part of UB’s second-place distance medley relay (10:08.20) at the MAC Indoor Championships. Took ninth in the 5,000m (15:20.45) at the MAC Outdoor Championships. Set UB’s fastest outdoor 3,000m time of 8:33.74 at the Toledo Collegiate Challenge.
2009-10: Named Coaches Award winner for 2009 cross country season. Competed in five meets. Turned in 10K clocking of 35:16 at NCAA Northeast Regionals. Posted top 8K times of 25:59 at Paul Short Invitational and 25:59.4 at Bowling Green Falcon Invitational. Set UB’s second-fastest 1500m (3:59.21) and 3000m (8:52.32) during the indoor season. Did not compete during the outdoor season.
2008-09: Competed in seven cross country meets with a top 8K time of 26:19.10 at the Bowling Green Falcon Invitational. Placed 59th at the MAC Cross Country Championships. Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor seasons.
High School: Won seven letters and captained two seasons at Clarence High School for coach John Hunt. Finished third in the New York. Helped the Red Devils to a fourth-place finish in the 4x800 relay at the state championships. Named team MVP as a junior and senior. Also ran cross country with Clarence’s ECIC and Section VI champion teams.
Personal: Born July 5, 1990. Son of Richard and Donna Inzina. Has one sister (Amy). Favorite movie is Team America: World Police. Favorite foods are Skittles and ice cream. Favorite books include Jack London’s White Fang and Call of the Wild. Majoring in electrical engineering.
