2010-11: Earned All-America honors in the indoor and outdoor shot puts. Named Northeast Region Field Athlete of the Year for indoor and outdoor seasons by USTFCCCA. Finished eighth indoors (61-4.75) and 11th outdoors (60-0.50) at the NCAA National Championships. Set UB shot put records of 62-0.50 (indoors at Penn State’s Sykes-Sabock Cup) and 63-9.50 (outdoors at USATF Nationals) and was named MAC Field Athlete of the Week five times. Won MAC indoor (61-0) and outdoor (62-11.25) shot put crowns at the league championships gaining first-team All-MAC honors. Placed second at the NCAA East Preliminaries with a throw of 63-8.25. Won the shot put at the Texas Relays and finished second at the Penn Relays. Set indoor shot put record four times and outdoor mark five times in 2011. Named UB’s Male Athlete of the Year and won UB’s Most Valuable honors for indoor and seasons. 

2009-10: Won the MAC shot put title (57-11) at the league’s outdoor championships, earning first-team All-MAC honors. Also finished fourth in the hammer throw (188-4). Placed third in the indoor shot put (56-8) at the MAC Championships. Placed 18th in the shot put (57-5.75) at the NCAA East Preliminaries. Set both the indoor (59-7.75) and outdoor shot put (59-11.75) records in his first season with the Bulls.

2008-09: Did not compete during the indoor or outdoor track seasons.

Previous College: Competed at Southern Connecticut State University where reached the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in the shot put. Won the Northeast-10 title in the outdoor shot put. Also competed at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships in the shot put.

High School: Captained three seasons and earned 11 letters for coaches Jim Zubler and Benn Tubbs at Frontier High School. Won state shot put titles at the 2006 outdoor and 2007 indoor and outdoor championships. Is the first Section VI individual to surpass 60 feet in the shot put (61-4.25). Also earned All-WNY football honors as a fullback and linebacker with the Falcons.

Personal: Born April 27, 1989. Son of Rich and Sandy Trudeau. Has two sisters (JaHanna, Eboney). Hobbies include hunting and fishing. Favorite athlete is Danish shot putter Joachim Olsen. Favorite TV shows include Sons of Anarchy and Angry Beavers. Favorite food is BBQ chicken finger sub. Admires his mother, a breast cancer survivor. Majoring in communication.
