2010-11: Earned Coaches’ Award for cross country. Competed in six races. Finished 68th at the MAC Cross Country Championships in 23:12.7 for 6K. Placed 13th in the 3,000m steeplechase at the MAC Outdoor Championships in 11:34.45. Set season-best of 11:23.14 in 3,000m steeplechase at Big Red Invitational. Turned in top 3,000m indoor time of 10:54.96 at Penn State Sykes-Sabock Cup.

2009-10: Raced in five cross country events. Set top 5K time of 20:31 at Tommy Evans Invitational. Set top 6K mark of 23:48.4 at Bowling Green Falcon Invitational. Competed in 3,000 and 5,000m races during indoor and outdoor track seasons. Set top indoor marks of 10:46.00 for the 3,000m and 19:18.63 for the 5,000m. Posted top outdoor marks of 10:51.28 for the 3,000m and 18:36.18 for the 5,000m. 

High School: Earned three letters and captained one season for coaches Bernie Gardner and Dave Ghidiu at Honeoye Falls High School. Finished 43rd at the 2009 state cross country championships, helping the team to a fourth-place finish. Part of three sectinal and four Livingston County cross country championship teams. Earned All-Greater Rochester track honorable mention honors.

Personal: Born February 11, 1991. Daughter of Gary and Debra Denton. Has one brother (Bradley) and one sister (Anne Marie). A 2008 Empire State Games silver medalist in nordic skiing. Has done charatable work at Rochester’s Strong Memorial Hospital and with Special Olympics. Hobbies include cycling and hiking. Majoring in exercise and nutrition science.
