Swam team-best times of 22.66 and 49.04 in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle at MAC Champs... Both times broke the UB school record and achieved NCAA “B” cut times... Also during MAC Champs, Burns swam season-best times of 1:49.92 in the 200 freestyle... At the Cleveland State Invitational, she hit a season-best time of 59.10 in the 100 butterfly.
High School: Four-year letterwinner and one-year team captain for head coach Matt Greene at Rush Henrietta Sperry High School... All-Greater Rochester and team MVP all four years... Named the Swimmer of the Year at Sectionals in 2012 and 2013... Won the Sportsman of the Year Award at the state championships in 2013.
