BUFFALO, NY- The UB women's swimming and diving team return home to the Alumni Arena Natatorium for the first time since October 24 when they hosted McMaster and fellow MAC foe Ball State. UB last faced the Bobcats on November 2, 2013. The Bulls fell 143-89 to the hosts. Interestingly enough, the last time these two teams faced off inside the Alumni Arena Natatorium, UB came away with a 162.5-137.5 victory.

Ohio holds a 12-1 record over the Bulls historically. However, the Bobcats are 2-3 on the season and 0-2 in MAC dual meets with loses to Akron and Bowling Green. Before traveling to Buffalo, Ohio will face Xavier and Duquesne in a tri-meet on Friday.

They are coming off their last meet back on January 8 against Denison where the Bobcats earned nine first-place finishes, two pool records, and their first win of 2016. Diver Haliegh Bartlett was named MAC Female Swimmer of the Week for recording scores of 308.48 in the one-meter dive and 345.83 in the three-meter dive, which also set a new facility record.

Saturday's meet between the Bulls and the Bobcats should be a close match with each side having key performers throughout the events. Both teams have less than six weeks before they will see each other against at the MAC Championships hosted by Bowling Green from February 24-27.
