2013-14: Earned All-MAC Second Team honors. Member of the 400 freestyle relay team that set a school and MAC record en route to winning the MAC title. Member of the 200 medley relay team that finished second at the MAC Championships. Also posted season-best times in the 50 freestyle (23.26), 100 freestyle (50.88) and 100 butterfly (54.51) at the MAC Championships.

2012-13: Posted season-best times in both the 50 freestyle (24.81) and 100 butterfly (58.38) at the Western New York Invite (10/13).

2011-12: Named Top Newcomer. Earned second-team All-MAC and Collegeswimming.com Mid-Major All-American honorable mention. Part of UB’s victorious MAC record setting 200 free relay (1:30.45) and 400 free realy (3:19.83) at the MAC Championships. Finished sixth in the 100 butterfly (55.14 in the finals after setting the UB record of 54.39 in the prelims), seventh in the 50 freestyle (23.29) and 11th in the 100 freestyle (50.76) at the league meet.

High School: Earned four letters at Mercy High School for coach Shannon Dunworth. Part of state champion 200 medley and 200 free relays. Finished second in the 100 butterfly and third in the 50 freestyle at the 2010 state meet. Earned All-Catholic, All-County, All-State and All-American honors. Helped the Marlins to four consecutive Michigan Division II state titles. Member of YMCA national champion 200 free relay teams for two straight years.

Personal: Born June 12, 1993. Daughter of James Steffl and Pamela Moorhouse. Has two sisters (Carly Steffl, Meghan Steffl). Favorite athlete is Muhammad Ali. Favorite movies include Tangled and Remember the Titans. Favorite TV shows include That 70s Show and Pretty Little Liars. Undecided on major.
