    Davie Carmichael Named Head Men’s Soccer Coach BUFFALO, NY – University at Buffalo Director of Athletics Allen Greene announced on Tuesday afternoon that Davie Carmichael has been elevated to head men’s soccer coach. Carmichael becomes the sixth head coach in UB men’s soccer history and will take over the reins of the program after serving as assistant coach at Buffalo for the last two seasons.

    Cicerone Selected In Fourth Round Of MLS Draft By The Portland Timbers BUFFALO, NY – Former University at Buffalo men’s soccer standout Russell Cicerone was selected by the Portland Timbers in the Fourth Round of the 2017 MLS SuperDraft on Tuesday afternoon. Being selected 67th overall, Cicerone becomes the first UB player in program history to be selected in the MLS draft.

    Cicerone Aims To Improve Draft Stock At This Week's MLS Players Combine BUFFALO, NY – After becoming the first UB player in program history to earn an invite to the Major League Soccer Player Combine, graduating senior Russell Cicerone will begin his quest to be the first UB men’s soccer player ever selected in the MLS SuperDraft. Cicerone will begin participating in the Players Combine today ahead of the MLS SuperDraft which is being held on Friday, January 13.
