BUFFALO, NY – The University at Buffalo football program unveiled new uniforms for the 2016 season on Tuesday.
The uniforms, designed by Nike and manufactured for the Bulls by ADPRO Sports of Buffalo, feature blue, black and white jerseys and white and black pants. All three jerseys will have Buffalo inscribed above the numbers across the chest.
The uniforms are part of the Nike Mach Speed System – worn by programs like Alabama, Clemson, Michigan State and Oklahoma – and incorporates the latest in Nike innovation as well as a fresh, updated design.
"Anytime you get new uniforms, it's exciting to see the players' reaction," head coach Lance Leipold said. "Having Buffalo on the front of our jerseys is important to us and it will be exciting for our fans as we head into the season. We're excited to get this thing started."
"They are great. I really like the simplicity of the uniforms," senior cornerback Boise Ross said. "We're really thankful for what we have right now. There's a lot of things changing with this program. We have a lot to look forward to and we have to thank our donors for all they do to make it happen."
Buffalo will kick off the 2016 season on September 2 against Albany at UB Stadium.
