December 10, 2018

Cierra Dillard

Senior Cierra Dillard continued to fill up the stat sheet for the Bulls this past week as they continued their extended road trip. She averaged 23.0 points per game, while adding 5.5 rebounds, 7.5 assists, and 4.0 steals per game. Dillard, who entered the week as the nation's leading scorer, has now scored 20 or more points in all eight games this season. She notched a double-double at Canisius with 25 points and 10 assists, while also finishing with six steals in the win over the crosstown rivals. Dillard added 21 points, eight rebounds, and five assists against the Flyers as she went a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line.

CJ Massinburg

Senior CJ Massinburg filled out the stat sheet for the Bulls this past weekend as UB ran its win streak to nine to start the season. Massinburg averaged 13.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 3.5 steals in the wins over Le Moyne and St. Bonaventure. Against Le Moyne, Massinburg recorded just the second triple-double in school history with 13 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists, and the first for a UB player at Alumni Arena. He followed that up on the road Saturday afternoon at Big 4 rival St. Bonaventure and he just missed a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. Massinburg was a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line in that game. He also collected seven steals on the defensive end during the week.
