Senior center Cassie Oursler continued her great play for the Bulls this week as UB went 2-0 with a huge win over previously unbeaten Central Michigan on Wednesday and a win over Akron on Saturday. The Grand Island, NY native finished off her week averaging a team-high 17.0 points, 10.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks. The Bulls relied heavily on Oursler in the win over CMU on Wednesday and she was able to produce, finishing off her team-leading seventh double-double of the season with 24 points and 13 rebounds. The senior was able to grab seven offensive rebounds while going 11-for-18 from the floor across 37 minutes of work. Oursler was only asked to play 21 minutes on Saturday in the win over Akron as she finished with 10 points, eight rebounds and three blocks while going 5-for-8 from the floor. She has now scored in double figures a career-best 20 times this season while leading the Bulls in rebounding nine times on the year.

Junior Jeremy Harris led the Bulls to a pair of victories this past week as Buffalo clinched the MAC East Division Title.  Harris averaged 21.5 points per game during the two contests beginning on Tuesday night when he scored a career-high 24 points in the win over the Golden Flashes. Harris added six rebounds, two assists and two steals against Kent State as he went 9-of-15 from the floor. Harris scored just under 20 points in the win over Bowling Green as he had 19 points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocked shots against the Falcons.  Over the last six games, Harris is averaging 19.8 points per game. He is second on the team in scoring in MAC games this season.
