Junior Savanna Norcio hit .556 over the weekend in the three-game series against Miami. She a pair of doubles during the series which gave her 17 for the season, third most in school history. Norcio also homered on Friday and she finished the week with a slugging percentage of 1.111. Overall, Norcio went .556 from the plate to lead the Bulls.

             

Senior shortstop Bobby Sheppard continued to swing a hot bat for the Bulls this past week as he was able to lead the Bulls with a .444 batting average (8-for-18) over a four-game span. The leadoff hitter had three multi-hit games as he leads the Bulls with 16 on the season while also scoring three runs. In the Bulls win over Canisius on Wednesday, Sheppard went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of runs. In the weekend series against first-place Kent State, Sheppard went 6-for-14 including a 3-for-4 effort on Saturday. On the year, Sheppard is leading the Bulls with a .337 batting average to go along with 27 runs and 18 RBI. In conference action, the shortstop has been exceptional as he owns a team-best .396 batting average to go along with 15 runs, eight RBI and a slugging percentage of .462. He has reached base successfully in 17 straight games and is also riding a six game hitting streak for the Bulls.
